ΑΛЄΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Head of Alexander 'the Great' to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with horseman spearing fallen captive. Rev. ΚΟΙ•ΜΑΚЄΔΟΝ[ΩΝ] / Β ΝЄ Two tetrastyle temples seen from front; between them, tall column surmounted by a statue of Alexander the Great (?) standing facing, head to left, holding spear in his right hand and parazonium in his left. Minor deposits and with two old scratches on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
